Miyuki is a runaway and homeless in Tokyo, fleeing her home after stabbing her overbearing father during an argument. Though she considers herself independent, she is taken in by two other homeless people, Gin and Hana, and she relies heavily on them for food and shelter. The three find a baby in a dumpster one Christmas Eve and begin a journey across Tokyo to reunite her with her family.
